Barbara Reiprich, RDH, PHDHP

Barbara Reiprich, RDH, PHDHP, received her dental hygiene degree, as well as her certification for local anesthesia from Manor College, Jenkintown PA. Barb worked in the private sector for several years before moving to the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. It is there, where she clinically treated many medically compromised patients. In working with these patients and in this setting she found her passion, allowing her creativeness for oral home care instruction to flourish. During her tenure at the hospital, Barb was Chair of the National Dental Allied Health Education Subcommittee, where they did research and developed several interdisciplinary webinars to be used across their hospital and nursing home system.

Barb is very active in professional organizations such as the American Dental Hygiene Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association where she serves as a trustee. She also is a member of the Academy of Dental Hygiene and volunteers for the Pennsylvania Mission of Mercy and Stand Down for Homeless Veterans.

During her down time, Barb values family time with her husband, son and daughter. She most often can be found on the soccer field watching her grandchildren.
