Overview
Live CE Webinar: May 14, 2025, 7:30-9:00 PM ET
A historical journey through the evolution and development of oral flora. Understanding the microbiome from nomenclature to gram-positive and gram-negative and the impact each of these pathogens has on one another and ultimately the host. We learned plaque and stain removal as a finishing and esthetic step of oral prophylaxis. Crossing the chasm from what we learned as a primarily esthetic procedure to a truly therapeutic procedure can have a direct impact on the health of teeth and titanium. A highlight of this program reveals decades of scientific research on guided biofilm therapy and the evidence-based approach to eliminating biofilm versus simply disrupting it.
