Debra A. Dixon, DMD, MSc

Debra Dixon is a Professor, Head of Radiology, and Section Head of Diagnostic Sciences at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois. Graduating from SIU School of Dental Medicine in 1993, she then completed an AEGD program and was in the inaugural 1995-1996 Implant Fellowship class at the school. She completed an MSc in Dental Radiology at the University of London. She has been a Radiology educator for pre-doctoral students for 25 years, has participated in several NIH projects with colleagues and has authored/co-authored several manuscripts. She is a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and continues to serve on the ADA Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition. Dr. Dixon presents Radiology CE for dental auxiliaries in collaboration with the Illinois State Dental Society.
