A clinical teaching series is offered for CE credit to help educators learn to conduct an effective student-centered learning environment. Faculty Reference Guide to Creating an Assignment

Case Studies
Assign these in-depth case studies designed specifically for dental hygiene students to provide insights into the complex issues involved in patient care. Each case includes patient history, periodontal charting, radiographs and intraoral images.
Case Challenges
These in-depth case challenges have been designed for dental students. Each case allows students to test their ability to diagnose complex cases by reviewing diagnostic information, including clinical, radiographic and pathological findings and select the proper diagnosis.
Caries Prevention
This series of ten continuing education courses, Caries Process and Prevention Strategies, may be taken individually or as a complete series. P&G has created these courses in conjunction with ADEA, enabling high quality educational experiences.
Improving Home Care: Innovations in Oral Health
This module focuses on the impact of plaque biofilm on gingival health and techniques for effective removal. This includes both chemical and mechanical control of biofilm and incorporates products that can elevate oral hygiene practices.

Dental Radiology Syllabus
The information in this 12-module syllabus is intended (1) to meet elements of initial educational/training requirements for Dental Assistant Students related to dental radiography; (2) to provide a framework for an in-service training program in oral healthcare settings to meet annual educational/training requirements as mandated by federal, state, local and professional organizations; and (3) to serve as a resource for oral healthcare personnel wishing to review evidence-based information on specific topics related to dental radiography.
Infection Control Syllabus
The information in this 13-course syllabus is intended (1) to meet initial educational/training requirements for Dental Assistant Students, (2) to provide a framework for an in-service training program in oral healthcare settings to meet annual educational/training requirements as mandated by OSHA and other federal, state, local and professional organizations, and (3) to serve as a resource for oral healthcare personnel wishing to review evidence-based information on specific topics related to infection prevention, hazardous waste management, and hazard communication compliance.
