Luke Burroughs, RDH, MPH

Luke Burroughs is Program Director and Associate Professor of Dental Hygiene at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, Cincinnati, Ohio, where he has taught since 2015. He graduated from the Raymond Walters College (now UC Blue Ash) Dental Hygiene Program in 2010 and worked in private practice before earning his MPH from New Mexico State University in 2015. He is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Having been a nurse aide serving nursing home residents and hospice patients prior to being a dental hygienist, one of his primary interests of research and advocacy is the oral health of nursing home residents. In 2022, Luke worked with Molly Mihlbachler to rewrite the nurse aide guidelines in Ohio.
