Oral-b Test Drive Oscillating-rotating Demonstration Toothbrushes Do Not Produce Aerosols

A recent paper summarizes 3 investigations confirming use of Test Drive, with either Oral-B iO or Oral-B Genius, only produces splatter and not aerosol-sized matter (particles <50μm diameter) in the dental clinic. Dental professionals can safely use these brushes without risk of aerosolization for intra-oral education purposes with patients following standard infection control procedures. The paper was published in the Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health by P&G researchers in collaboration with co-authors from Cardiff University and The University of Pisa.
