Oral healthcare facilities should have the organizational infrastructure that promotes a seamless response following occupational exposure, i.e., clear written procedures for prompt reporting, evaluation, and follow-up.19,28 Access to clinicians familiar with post-exposure evaluation and treatment protocols should be made available during all working hours (including nights and weekends) and oral HCP should be familiar with the principles of post-exposure management.30
